> I am one of contestants who are taking part in the regional contest in Beijing on Oct.7. Now I am writing this letter with utter unpleasure because today when we take First Round Internet Contest hosted by Tsinghua, there are many things which can make us suspicious with the justice of contests and the prepararion of Tsinghua.
> 	First of all, the most unreasonable thing happens in one hour after the contests’ beginning. The website of Tsinghua can’t not be opened at all. At first, we thought it was due to a great number of contestants, so we choose just to wait. About in 4pm, we could scan the website, but we could not submit our codes at all, to be more precise, if you are lucky enough, three even ten minutes at least per clicks. This situation continued until the end of contest(Although the contest has give us one extra hour) which means from 2pm to 7pm,totally five hours. Our team is not the only one who meat this bad condition, in fact, most of teams do. Otherwise, the problem is some of them can submit, and the other ones cann’t. So, it can’t help to let us feel the justice of this contest have been ruined. We have contact with many other teams, some of them feel angry and upset, and they all feel the Internet Contest has really been a contest of the speed on net. One contestant said:” In this contest, the only thing I can do is refreshing the website to find whether it will work. In the process of contest, we tried to contact with Tsinghua in the third hour, their answer is:” Our server cann’t work, but we have repaired now. So, we will open the server bit by bit “, “bit by bit”???? That’s why even until the end of contest, we still cannot submit??? How unreasonable.
>    And then, there are many other problems. For example in the problem of A, some one find that the description in the .pdf file is quite different from that on the website. And some other one find the problem I perhaps need Special Judge, but neither hints nor notice existed at all ( NOTICE: if I have a good memory, I remember the host seldom post any notice during the Six Hour’s contest!). Still more, one problem has the time limitation of 10s, but some one said, their program had been rejected in 1.55s and got the result of Time Limited Error. Even more ridiculous, some one said, the same code had received different results after submits, such as MLE,CE,TLE. Even the judge put a notice before the contest which said perhaps the online judge system can mix up with MLE and RTE.
>    When I described the instants in paragraph.3 , I always say:” someone said”. Because I didn’t experience these bad things, but I got known them from my friends, from BBS……Perhaps some instants is not totally true, otherwise, at least they provide us of the possibility of existence, and tell us “something really goes wrong”.
