Time flies, yet my memory of you remains vivid. Can it really be four years since I first laid eyes on you? I remember it so clearly: on the beautiful Zhuhai Campus, four years ago, when I caught a glimpse of your smile as you walked out of the classroom and glanced back. The soft glow of the setting sun illuminated your rosy cheeks, and in that moment, I knew I was captivated by you. Over the following months, I observed you from afar, admiring your grace, wisdom, outlook on life, and aspirations for the future. You were the radiant, joyful girl I had always dreamed of sharing my life with. Alas, you seemed so far out of reach, and I had no idea how to bridge the chasm between us. Instead, I waited, hoping for the right opportunity. Now, as graduation approaches, I realize I should have created and seized that opportunity rather than just waiting.

These days, as I say farewell to friends, roommates, and classmates, it's hard to believe that these familiar faces will soon fade from our lives, becoming mere memories. Tomorrow, I will leave the university for good, while you prepare to embark on a journey far away to pursue your dreams. It's possible we may never meet again unless fate intervenes. Tonight, I found myself wandering near your dormitory, hoping to catch a glimpse of you by chance. Yet, I know that seeing you would make my heart race and my tongue tie in knots. I can't recall how many times I've passed by your dormitory in Zhuhai and Guangzhou, wishing for a glimpse of you on the balcony or a silhouette in the window. I've often thought about inviting you to dinner or simply striking up a conversation, but each time, my insecurities and timidity held me back.

Graduation marks the end of our university days and the conclusion of these vibrant, romantic years. Your enchanting smile, which initially inspired me to strive for success, and this unrequited love will both be cherished memories, tucked away deep within my heart and mind. Graduation also signifies the beginning of a new chapter in our lives and the pursuit of a bright future. I sincerely hope you find happiness abroad and that everything goes well for you. In the meantime, I will strive to mature and become more worldly, never giving up on my pursuit of love and happiness in the real world.

Farewell, my princess!

If, one day, fate reunites us as older, wiser individuals, I hope we can be good friends, fondly reminiscing about these memories and rekindling the youthful, joyful emotions they evoke. If that chance never comes, I wish to be like the stars in the sky, twinkling outside your window, blessing you from afar as a friend, keeping you company every night, and sharing both sweet dreams and nightmares alike.
