请问下sample构建的走一步的矩阵表示什么意思？

通过构建ac自动机后，0(根)表示状态0，A表示状态1，走一步的矩阵如下：
[3 1]
[0 0]

[3 1]的3次幂就是[27 9]，最后答案是27+9=36，
[0 0]          [0  0]                          

为什么这样做是对的呢。。。
